Since the previous few Chapters, Fate has been feeling the negative effects of his Gluttony abilities. Having had a taste of souls, his skill now craves more, and according to Greed, if Fate does not consume more souls, he will either die or be forced to attack the ones closest to him, therefore Fate has gone out to hunt and devour the souls of monsters.
While she ponders what went wrong, Fate walks away from them after witnessing such a response. His greedy nature has brought him to this point. According to the prophecy, Destiny will chase them away with his crimson eyes if he ever comes across someone weaker than himself. Gluttony, it seems, will alter his body when famished so that he can consume more souls.
