It was officially announced that Queer Eye would return for a seventh season in (May of 2022). Netflix announced the seventh season was in production and was casting for folks looking for make-betters by posting a humorous video of the Fab Five going across the country on Twitter. The renewal was met with a positive response from fans which was to be expected.

Who Will Be on Queer Eye Season 7?
In season 5, the Fab Five (Bobby Berk, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, and Antoni Porowski) will return to give people around the world stunning makeovers and provide funny one-liners.
Queer Eye 7 Production Updates
The official Queer Eye Twitter account announced the start of filming for season seven in June 2022, with two cute photographs of the Fab Five and the caption:
“The Fab 5 just arrived in The Big Easy and are already dripping in Mardi Gras beads. We’re so excited to join the party in this amazing city. Get ready for new adventures and more tears real soon.”
When Antoni posted a selfie of himself, Tan, and Jonathan on Instagram around two months later, it was clear that filming was still ongoing.

Despite the lack of official confirmation, March 2023 being the current month suggests that filming has concluded.
Queer Eye Season 7 Filming Location
New nominations and potential new favorite places are presented to us with each passing season. Netflix has officially announced that the Fab Five will visit New Orleans, Louisiana, during season 7.
Colorful flowers and balmy breezes are to be expected, but so are heartfelt exchanges and a few tears. In an interview with E! News published in November 2022, Tan admitted that he had shed the most tears of any season while filming the next episodes since they were the “hardest” he had ever had to film.

How Many Queer Eye Seasons Are There?
Seven whole seasons of Queer Eye are now available to stream on Netflix. Six of those seasons are from the original series that we fell in love with in 2018, and the seventh is from the equally remarkable spin-off of the series dubbed Queer Eye: We’re In Japan!
Seasons 1-4 have a total of 8 episodes each, while 5&6 have a total of 10 episodes each. Here We Are In Japan! has four episodes, and each episode is under an hour long regardless of the season.
